OUR SERVICE
Our website service, Students Of Strength (SOS), works to stop the problem of human trafficking before it begins by providing resources and direction to professional help in an anonymous and comforting atmosphere.
We are continuing our long lasting partnership with the organization Set Beautiful Free, located in Mumbai, India to create awareness spreading, story telling, and revenue generating bracelets. These bracelets contain an RFID chip that when scanned by a phone, takes users directly to a link that tells the inspiring and impactful story of a human trafficked survivor.
Our outreach education program takes place the month of January- national human trafficking prevention month. By speaking out in 9th grade health classes and entire school assemblies we aim to spread awareness about the dangers of trafficking and early onset signs. As we inform teens on the value of our website service, they are provided with an outlet to the dangers of trafficking some at risk-youth might be susceptible to facing
KIDS HELPING KIDS, SO KIDS CAN BE KIDS
While every member has their own individual motivators for serving our population of
at-risk youth to human trafficking, we are united in the same passion to invest our time and efforts to make a lasting and impactful difference in the lives of children in need. The skills we acquire from our efforts in the classroom can be applied to real world scenarios and used to empower students beyond high school and continue to be an important contributor to the community.
